Christian Schoyen (born February 13, 1966) is a headhunter, author and futurist with speciality in human behaviour futurology. He has since 1997 been the CEO for a successful international headhunting company that he founded, serving Global Fortune 500 companies such as Coca Cola, Microsoft and Johnson & Johnson.
In 2011, Christian's futuring project; "Las Vegas 2020", which was based on a methodology he had created for futuring, was selected for presentation at World Future Society international Conference in Vancouver, Canada.[1]
In 2006, Christian developed the film Living the Dream[2] around his A Second Life belief system through the production company, A Second Life Production.[3] The Los Angeles Times review said; "It's downright misantrophic ...farcical drama with the most hostile cinematic view of Los Angeles since "CRASH". There is undeniable heart in "Living the Dream", with its implicit criticism of mercenary values..."[4]
He is the author of the US bestselling book for companies on how to recruit; Secrets of the Executive Search Experts,[5] as well as the self-help book How to Get the Job: A Handbook for International Job Seekers.[6] and A Second Life: Your Second Chance at Life.[7]
Christian graduated with a BBA from Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA in 1991[8] and conducted his ethnic studies at California State University, Northridge.
